2 expat positions at Danish Embassy


Two full-time Positions as Locally Employed Staff open for Expats at the Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow
 The successful applicants will be part of the Embassy’s Visa and Consular Sections, and will refer directly to the Consul. They will be involved in all aspects of the work within these areas:
 -         decision maker in questions related to visas (authorized personnel) being capable of justifying decisions orally and in writing 
 -         processing visas and residence/work permits (scrutinizing applications and accompanying documentation, interviewing applicants and references)
 -         handling enquiries re. visas, residence and work permits professionally and correct by telephone and in writing
 -         liaising with applicants, consulates & embassies, the Danish visa application centre, Danish Immigration Centre, Danish and Russian companies
 -         overall consular assistance to Danish citizens in distress
 -         receipt of applications for Danish passport and driving license
 -         verification of documents
 We are looking for candidates:
-         being accurate, service minded and responsible
-         being team players and able to work under pressure
-         capable of making quick decisions in accordance with set rules and able to justify the fairness and correctness of the decisions
-         having good IT skills
-         being fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Russian and/or Danish will be an advantage but not a condition
Applicants must undergo 2 weeks of training at the Embassy prior to job start app. 1st of September, 2011. Training is scheduled to take place during the first two weeks of August.
Salary to be based on previous experience and skills.
