Gorky Park/Park Kultury, Krymsky Val (tel. 771 0514, www.gorkybeach.ru) – large park with man-made summer beach club. Open from 12:00. Entrance: 50 roubles.
Pokrovsky Hills (Pokrovskoe-Glebovo Park), Nikolski Tupik (tel. 502 4848) – clean sand and well maintained grass and beach areas, good for picnics (BBQs, marquees and pavillions available for hire). Activities include table tennis, mini golf, volleyball, children’s play area etc. Cafe now closed. Paddle boats for hire. Entrance 400 roubles weekend (under 7s free).
Pomestie Park, Tamanskaya Ulitsa, Serebryanny Bor (tel. 544 7876, www.pomestie-park.ru) – clean sand and grass beach area, restaurant, cafe. Large children’s play area with trampoline, climbing frames etc. (100 roubles per hour). Small enclosed children’s swimming area with slide. Sun-bed with mattress and towel: 500 roubles per day. Rental available (boats, jetskis). Volleyball, billiards etc. Car entrance to Serebryanny Bor: 100 roubles. Parking and trolley bus stop outside park entrance. Ice sliding and ice skating in winter. Restaurant with supervised children's entertainment. Also large gardens and other beach areas with entertainment in Serebryanny Bor (including ‘elite’ beaches at beach no. 1 - www.beachone.ru - and beach no. 3 – Uletai, tel. 518 1075). Ice swimming held at Serebryanny Bor in the frozen ‘Bottomless Lake’ (popular on New Year's Day and Epiphany).
